1. HILLS SPORT SHOP
For two to four hours, meet at the Capitol Peak Trail. Thrash with easy and fast groups. There are many trails that cover undulating terrain, including some quick and others that can be swervey. The climb is 243.8m long and is paved. Town: Amarillo.

3. PEYTONS Bike Shop
Notrees at Flag Ranch will provide trails for all riders. Ride until dark on Sunday at 2 p.m. You will find sections of singletrack that are fast and technical through desert vegetation. Town: Midland.

4. BIKE TOWN
The third Thursday of each month, at 6-7 p.m. A group of 10 people meets at the trails on either the south or north sides of town. There are a few slight rises in the west Texas desert terrain. Town: Abilene.

5. PRO BIKE
Show Sunday afternoon at the state parks To accommodate different skill levels, separate groups have been formed. There are seventy miles of singletrack, hardpack and jeep trails. This includes some sand as well as lots of rocks and cactus. Town: San Angelo.

7. LAKESIDE SPORTS
Thursday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Meet at The Tracks (4:00 p.m. daylight Sav.). Singletrack runs through desert terrain, and passes through arroyos. It is an easy ride that you can share with 20 other people. Del Rio is the town.

9. THE BIKE STOP
Join the Sheppard Air Force Base military men to hammer. Contact 322-7301 to arrange a ride at Barends Landing.

10. DENTON BICYCLE CENTER
The shop hosts the 6 p.m., 7 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday sessions. You can expect up to 15 riders, and a moderate-fast pace. This Texas Road Ride will take you on a blast through decrepit gravel and paved roads. Town: Denton.

11. BICYCLES PLUS
This Sunday morning session will be held at the Grapevine Lake trailhead. The group of 15 divides into slow and fast packs. The Northshore Trail, a ten-mile, out-and back, follows the shoreline. Flower Mound is the town.

These Sunday and Saturday rides meet at the trailhead. There are 15 trails in the area, including Rowlette Creek and Erwin Park. You can expect up to 12 other people. Call for the morning or evening start time. Town: Plano.

13. RICHARDSON Bike MART
For information on the times and locations of the rides, please call the MTB office. Sister Grove, LB Houston and the climbs at Ceder Hill are some of the locations. Expect a fast pace. Town: Richardson.

14. TEEPEE HILL
After daylight savings, 10-15 riders will meet at 6 p.m. on Teepee Hill near Whilte Rock Lake. It is half dirt and half road. The singletrack winds through the forest and is packed. Lighten up. Town: Dallas.

15. FORT WORTH CYCLING & FITNESS
Most group off-road rides are held on Sundays. For the most current trailhead meeting spot, call. Expect to see three to ten riders, and a moderate-to-hard pace. This ride takes you to the best trails in the metroplex. Fort Worth is the capital.

16. SIMPSON FITNESS & ADVENTURE SPORT

Meet at Black Jack Circle, Tyler State Park, at 2 p.m. This singletrack loop covers 10 miles and has 457.2m of climbing. All abilities are welcome. Come out to see if your skills can match the shop-racing teams’ sub-one-hour lap times. Town: Tyler.

The shop is open to winter riders, with up to 25 riding each weekend at Martin Creek State Park. There are a few creek crossings in the mix of technical and fast singletrack. Woolley Gs welcomes all! Town: Longview.

For the most current evening ride plan, call. Sessions revolve around the U of H exam schedule. Rides meet at the trailhead. The group covers 30 miles of trails in the area. It also includes as many climbs possible. Town: Waco.

Ten riders descend from this shop to meet the Kerrville clan. Singletrack can be rocky, smooth or slick and is perfect for full suspension. This is technical riding at its finest. Town: Fredricksburg.

Walnut Creek Park can host up to 70 people on Thursday evenings at 5 p.m. There are many trails throughout the 400-acre park. Singletrack is narrow and twisty, with creek crossings and whoops. Town: Austin.
